US President Donald Trump continues to make controversial moves on the political scene, with a recent announcement confirming that he had dismissed John Bolton from his position as the national security adviser.

This drew a lot of criticism with people accusing Trump of trying to paint Bolton in a bad light for his own personal reasons.
The president added that he would be picking a new person for the position starting next week, although he has not pointed out any potential candidates yet.
Bolton defended himself by tweeting: “I offered to resign last night, and President Trump said, ‘Let’s talk about it tomorrow.”
The letter of Bolton’s resignation stated: “Dear Mr, President: I hereby resign, effective immediately, as Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs. Thank you for having afforded me this opportunity to serve our country.”
Many of Trump’s followers seem confused over the recent developments in his administration with some even expressing worries that the president might not represent their own positions and opinions anymore at this stage.
