Nickelodeon Star Kira Kosarin Releases Valentine's Day Single "Love Me Like You Hate Me"

Singer-songwriter and former The Thundermans actress, Kira Kosarin, has released her newest single “Love Me Like You Hate Me” just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Kira’s soulful and R&B style is projected in “Love Me Like You Hate Me,” exploring the importance of maintaining your self-expression and confidence while in a serious relationship. In a significantly more mature tune, Kosarin speaks about not being treated like a fragile object. She wants to be loved in a way that makes her feel wanted and not as if she could be broken. “I’ll only run away/ If you touch me like you’ll break me/ So love me like you hate me/ Cuz that’s how I like it, baby.”

This single is leading up to the release of Kosarin’s debut album, which she’s already begun to tease on her social media accounts.

On Twitter, Kosarin also posted four upcoming dates that will be of importance: March 8, March 15, March 29 and April 10. Her tweets are making fans nervous with excitement as the dates will be coming up soon.

If our math is correct, 50 days after this was posted will be April 10. Exciting news as we can expect a new album VERY soon! In the meantime, Kosarin will be releasing 7 more songs within the next 7 weeks to prepare fans for her debut.

The 21-year-old singer and actress began releasing music in 2018 with her first original single titled “Vinyl.” “Wrote this song three years ago and performed it live for the first time last night,” she wrote on Twitter last May. “Here’s an unreleased original. Vinyl.” Kosarin shared the official music video just last month.

“Vinyl” explores the highs of a broken relationship where music was seen as an important piece of their relationship. “We would listen on vinyl, behind a hand rolled cigarette/ Mess around in the blue room to that song that I can’t forget.” It’s a unique and mature song that helped her transition from Nickelodeon actress to adulthood.

Listen to “Love Me Like You Hate Me” available now on all digital and streaming platforms to get an idea of what kind of music to expect. Her debut album will definitely be full of enticing songs like this one.
