Robbie Amell Face Scar In The Witcher Season 3 Explained

Robbie Amell scar in The Witcher Season 3 is a big and ugly one. The Witcher Elf scar indicates their time in battle.

The scar stretches from slightly above the temple area to all the way down the side of the right lips.

Robbie Amell shared a photo on Instagram captioned as;

“This was my hair makeup test for The Witcher… First, they put a long wig on me, and let me tell you, nobody wants to see that. We opted to shave a Mohawk and give a big scar.”

In The Witcher Season 3, Amell plays Gallatin, an elf and guerrilla fighter who’s part of Scoi’tael, which are a group of eleven rebels.

Why Do Elves Have Scars in The Witcher?

Elves have scars in The Witcher because of the constant battle they undergo or their way of living. However, not all elves have scars.

Being elves make them vulnerable and more prone to fighting and defending their clan and their place. This also becomes the reason for developing enemies.

Fighting monsters for a long time, even though elves have mutagens that grant them superior strength and reflex, will affect physicality.

Scars are not a mandatory criterion for elves. The oldest and most experienced witcher, Vesemir, has no scars.

He is not the only one, Auckes, Berengar, and Serrit also have no scars. It is the way they live that creates the scars.

The Witcher Season 3 scar is highlighted in most elves’ bodies, excluding some.

Viewers have noticed that most people have a scarf by their eyes in the show.

Eskel, one of the witchers of School of the Wolf, got his scar from his surprise child, Deidre Adeneyn. He was offered to Eskel by a knight who was saved while in trouble by Eskel.

Deidre cuts Eskel’s face when he hears Eskel discouraging him.

Geralt of Rivia has scars all over his body. He has them as a result of the battle. His scars are visible on his neck, his chest, and his arm. thighs and abs, his face, across his left eye.

Various other scars are the result of battles conducted over decades. A constant battle is happening in the game ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’, just like the show.

They formed a great part of the Elder group (including dwarves and gnomes), those known as Aen Seidhe came to the Continent on their white ships much earlier than humans.

Witcher elf characters are a humanlike ethnic group that inhabits the Continent. They live longer than humans and are very attractive.

Why Did Cahir Kill Gallatin in The Witcher?

Cahir Killed Gallatin in The Witcher because he needed to prove his loyalty toward Emhyr (The White Flame). Gallatin was unaware of his intentions.

The rise of the southern kingdom, Nilfgaard has forced everyone to choose a side. Earlier, humans and elves lived separate lives.

The northern kingdom now has to work together to defeat the White Flame.

Gallatin The Witcher is played by Robbie Amell.

The Emperor of Nilfgaard is a powerful force because of the loyalty its people offer. Cahir is a devoted soldier to White Flame who can even go against his friends.

Nilfgaard made elves their allies to fight against the northern kingdom. Emhyr, aka the White Flame, promised to give them a place of their own after defeating the northern kingdom. Elves fought for Nilfgaard.

The elves are headed by Francesca, who prioritises her people a lot. She got close to the kingdom during season 2 when she was pregnant. Slowly, when she started trusting Nilfgaard, she forgot that Emhyr doesn’t care about the elves.

He would kill anyone if the elves strayed away, even killing a baby. We see his cruelty in the third season when Cahir comes to him with Gallatin.

Gallatin heads the troops of elves, while Francesca is busy looking for Ciri. He wants Nilfgaard to win the war so that they can get a kingdom of their own, ensuring the race’s survival.

Gallatin doesn’t know that Emhyr also wants to find Ciri. The only one to know about the search was Cahir, who was punished for his dishonesty.

When Gallatin reveals to Cahir about Francesca looking for Ciri, the latter sees an opportunity to get into Emhyr’s good book.

Cahir takes Gallatin to the Emperor, hoping to get back in his search for Ciri. He is not concerned about the dispute between Francesca and Gallatin, even when he has a soft spot for Gallatin.

Emhyr, when found out about Francesca’s quest, tries to align with them in the search, however, only for his interest.

Gallatin, without knowing about this, thought that Emhyr might want elves to fight against the northern kingdom instead of running after a random girl. He thought of taking control of the elves from Francesca.
